Most independent shops already have the numbers. They are just in five places: the shop platform knows the orders, the payment processor knows the fees, the ad account knows what the clicks cost, the courier knows what arrived late and a stock sheet knows what is left. The Monday report is somebody copying all of that into one spreadsheet, by hand, before anyone can talk about it.

Halvard does the copying. Connect the tools once and the revenue dashboard shows sales by channel, with refunds and processor fees already taken off. The orders dashboard shows how long parcels wait between payment and the van. The ops dashboard shows which products will sell out before the next delivery lands.

What changes in the first month

  • Margin is a real number. Costs come from your accounting software, fees from your payment processor, so gross margin is worked out on what you actually paid rather than a price list from last spring.
  • Ad spend has to earn its keep. Spend by campaign sits next to the revenue it brought in. A campaign that costs more than it returns turns red on its own.
  • Stock-outs stop being a surprise. Days of cover is calculated from your own sales rate, per product and per location, and an alert fires before the shelf is empty — not after.

Typical setup

A shop with one website, one counter and around 4,000 orders a month sends about 180,000 events. That sits comfortably inside the Team plan at £39 a month, with five people on the account. Setting up takes most shops under half an hour, and we will do it with you on a call if you would rather not.
